The song features Thalapathy Vijay where he shows off his energetic dance moves while smoking a cigarette. Soon after, a social activist in Chennai protested the song, accusing it of promoting drug addiction. Following the complaint, Leo’s crew added a smoking disclaimer to Naa Reddy’s song, ending any criticism.

Chennai-based activist Selvam has filed a police complaint against Thalapathy Vijay and his movie Leo. Plaintiffs allege that Naa Reddy’s song promotes smoking and drinking, which may incite and influence youth drug use. Selvam in his report added that he will take Thalapathy Vijay to court
