Grievous Wounds, fighter sustain, and ADC satisfaction are all on Riot’s radar for the upcoming League release.

League of Legends is far from being a perfectly calibrated game in terms of balance. Here is a list of the modifications that will be made to the game with Patch 13.2 thanks to the persistent efforts of lead League designer Matt Leung-Harrison and the rest of the team.

On Jan. 11, Leung-Harrison, otherwise known as Phroxzon, shared Riot Games’ plans for the future of the game, starting with Patch 13.2. The lead designer for Patch 13.2 revealed the list of changes in a tweet. The devs are heavily emphasising readjusting Grievous Wounds to add a 40% healing debuff on lesser components. There are also promised changes coming to AD carries, such as “small-scope satisfaction changes” and potential durability changes.

In addition, Riot wants to adjust the overall speed and endurance of Fighters to reduce their overall agency and to tone down their power. Similar to this, Riot will make improvements to Tenacity in Patch 13.2 so that they stack correctly.

As the cherry on top, Riot will make adjustments to Chemtech Drake and Soul and, as is to be expected, ship frequent balancing tweaks to address champions who have long been prominent figures in Summoner’s Rift.

Despite the fact that all of these adjustments were vitally necessary to balance the game, they had been overdue for much longer, and Riot should have shipped them before the start of the Preseason to address them. It’s still better to act now than never.
