Gaming can be defined as playing electronic games on consoles, computers, mobile phones, and so on. Gaming is a term that describes continuous gameplay as a daily routine. It is also a form of recreation. Online video games are popular these days. The person who plays a game is called a gamer.

After the invention of the computer, a revolution in the world of recreational activities came in the form of video games by building an interface between the user and the system. The interface gradually came to be known as the Graphical User Interface (GUI). The Graphical User Interface basically builds a virtual connection between the gamer and the system. The first video game was introduced in 1958 as a tennis game by  William Higinbotham.
