The launch of the iPhone 13 is over a month away and the leaks are making quite a buzz. It is expected to have four models iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. A new leak suggests that iPhone 13 series may have a 120Hz refresh rate and an always-on display mode similar to Apple Watch. This sounds more power-consuming. But iPhone 13 series is expected to have a less power consuming display than the iPhone 12 series.
Apple is yet to declare features for iPhone 13, but according to the report by Bloomberg, the next-gen iPhones will come with a smaller notch and a faster A15 chip. The display will consume less power as it will come with LTPO display, which means it allows integrating the always-on display feature seen on the Apple Watch. The always-on display feature would give iPhone users the option to access some information like time, weather and notifications. The same feature is on Apple Watch for the last 2years. The display is expected to have a 120Hz refresh rate which will bring an upgrade to video recording.
Apple is building 90 million new iPhones for this fall. In 2020, iPhone 12 series Apple came with 75 million units. So for iPhone 13, Apple has hiked its production by 20 per cent.
iPhone 13 may come in two new colours Pearl, Black, Rose Gold and Sunset Gold. It is reported to have features like Wi-Fi 6E and the camera module is reported to be larger than its processor. Features like fast charging and improved wide-angle lens will also be in the iPhone 13 series.
