OMG, a movie starring Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar, became increasingly well-known over time. The actor is back with the successful movie’s sequel now, 11 years after the film’s success. Fans can’t control their excitement after the actor recently revealed the release date.
Akshay Kumar revealed the day when his forthcoming film OMG 2 will be released on Instagram on Friday. The actor posted a captivating image on social media in which he can be seen wearing Lord Shiva’s dumru and sporting Lord Shiv’s long hair (shivji’s jata). “We are coming, you also come, 11th August, in theatres. #OMG2,” the actor wrote as the Hindi caption for the photo.
As Akshay Kumar shared the poster with the fans, internet users became ecstatic. One of the spectators said, “Blockbuster.” Someone more commented, “Amazing news, can’t wait for the movie.” A other viewer remarked, “Akshay Kumar, Yami Gautam, and Pankaj Tripathi, that means movie is a hit.” While some on the internet believed it would fail because it clashed with Gadar 2, saying “shouldn’t have clashed with Gadar 2, now it’s going to be a flop.” Someone else commented, “Why are you conflicting it with Gadar 2?”
The film, directed by Amit Rai, also has Arun Govil, Abhinay Raj Singh, Yami Gautam, and Pankaj Tripathi in significant parts. The sequel to OMG is a satirical comedy-drama film that centres on the Indian educational system.
In the meantime, Akshay Kumar is set to star alongside Tiger Shroff, Manushi Chhillar, and Alaya F in Ali Abbas Zafar’s next film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. In 2024, Diwali is the projected release date for the film.
