The trailer of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s romantic comedy Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar was released by the makers on Monday afternoon. The quirky comedy, which is the first time the two actors have worked together, is Ranbir’s comeback to the romantic comedy subgenre after a long absence. The trailer opens with Ranbir Kapoor, a player, talking about how one can break up with someone without being bad. When he meets Shraddha Kapoor and falls in “sacha pyaar,” life has other plans for him than to spread this gyaan to others. The shock is that Shraddha’s character is more than just a match for him; she plans to dump him by employing his same strategy. In this entertaining three-minute trip, there are sparks flying, songs being sung, dances being performed, and Ranbir even finds time for a very Kartik Aaryan-like monologue.

Let the games of love begin.” Boney Kapoor, a director, and Anubhav Singh Bassi, a comedian, both made their acting debuts in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, which was directed by Luv Ranjan. Dimple Kapadia plays a significant part in the movie as well.
The movie’s title was kept a secret for a very long period; in the news, it was always referred to as a “untitled Luv Ranjan production.” Earlier in December of last year, the title was made public following a brief marketing effort. Shraddha shared new movie posters of herself and Ranbir earlier on Monday, confirming the time of the trailer premiere.
