Millet Soup Recipe:

  1. The millet should first be well washed before being set aside to dry. Simply cut the vegetables to prepare them. The onion and garlic are sautéed till just golden brown in hot oil in a pressure cooker.
  2. Then, add the chopped veggies, such as beetroot, carrots, and beans, and cook on low heat for 5 minutes, or until the raw scent has vanished. After cooking for two minutes, season with salt, pepper, and oregano to taste.
  3. Stir immediately after adding the millet. 1 1/2 cups of water should be added. Cook for 5 whistles on low to medium heat.Immediately after the pressure has been removed, open the container and let it cool fully. then add the water.
  4. Finally, simply add the milk to it and thoroughly mash it with a ladle, or you may use an electric blender to speed up the process. Pepper powder should be liberally sprinkled before serving.
