Shah Rukh Khan starrers Jawan and Dunki earn this whopping amount even before release

After taking us on a thrilling action adventure in Pathaan, superstar Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the release of Atlee’s Jawan. Not to mention, SRK also has Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki in the lineup. Both films – produced under Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment label – are due out later this year. However, some reports claim that prior to its release on the big screen, the non-film rights of Jawan and Dunki were sold for a whopping amount of almost Rs 500 crore.


The non-theatrical rights of Shah Rukh Khan Jawan and Dunki sold for Rs 480 crore

Jawan and Dunki have struck dizzying deals on digital, music and satellite rights. Reportedly, Jawan fetched a slightly higher price tag than Dunki due to its all-India release, while director Rajkumar Hirani will only be released in Hindi. Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Dunki did well in the non-theatrical sector, raking in a whopping Rs 480 crore, ETimes reported. While Jawan rights sold for around Rs 250 crore, Dunki fetched around Rs 230 crore. The Daily claimed that the non-film rights sold to Jawan and Dunki were the highest of any film.
